The Physics Dimension didn’t start in a boardroom or a business accelerator. It started in the darkened dome of a planetarium, behind the scenes of a children’s science museum, and backstage at a community theater.
Ben, our co-founder, spent over a decade in science education before ever stepping in front of a class. From guiding young children through engineering concepts at the Kettering University-affiliated Flint Children’s Museum to leading hands-on facilitation at Chicago’s Adler Planetarium, he became a master of translating complex concepts into tangible experiences. Later, he brought that passion into high school classrooms, earning a Master’s of Science in Education and Social Policy focused in math education at Northwestern University and teaching physics classes in Chicago Public Schools.
Christina, meanwhile, worked in healthcare and community engagement, but always kept one foot in the arts. A lifelong organizer and host, she honed the skills of storytelling, coordination, and public speaking across fields. Together, they shared a love of science, theater, and their Chicago community.
When the opportunity came to fuse those passions into something new, The Physics Dimension LLC was born—a business built to bring science out of the textbook and onto the stage. It’s not a pivot. It’s a synthesis.
We are educators, entertainers, and engineers of awe. And we’re just getting started.
